Mrs. Hummel’s junior kindergarten class enjoyed their special January visit with Mrs. Gruetzmaacher! She read cute winter stories, the children had fun, playing with her puppets, and everyone loved her delicious, homemade brownies!

Something AMAZING happened in Junior Kindergarten! We have been reading books about "mittens" and learning all about winter, animals, snow, and concepts including hibernation, camouflage, and how to stay warm.
We were SURPRISED by "anonymously" receiving dozens of BEAUTIFUL mittens handmade especially for our 43 junior kindergarten boys and girls. It is like we have our very own "Mitten FAIRY" in Walworth....Actually, we do!

Looking for a way to stay warm and have some fun? WINTERFEST is coming to Walworth School. It will be on Thursday, February 15th from 5:00-7:00 PM. Admission is free.
There will be face painting, games, bouncy houses, and concession to purchase. Tickets will be $.25 or 5/ $1.

Walworth students participated in Lions Kidsight USA, an annual vision screening provided by the Lions Club. The volunteers from the Big Foot Lions Club screened over 400 Walworth students' vision! Thank you Lions Club for your continued support of our school!
