This week the Walworth first graders were invited to the Village of Walworth’s Tree Lighting ceremony. Although the weather was a little frightful, the students' afternoon was filled with Christmas caroling, crafts, stories, and a visit with Santa. The students all cheered as the village tree was lit. Thank you to the Village of Walworth, the Walworth Police Department, and the Walworth Fire/Rescue for organizing this special event. What a great way to kick off this holiday season! 🎅🎄🎅🎄 #WeLoveWalworth #BetterTogether #WalworthJ1

The 3rd graders at Walworth School were thrilled to receive their very own dictionaries from the State Line Grange members! This has been an annual program that they call "Words for Thirds." Even with all of the technology these days, the children absolutely love their dictionaries and look forward to using them throughout the years. Their favorite parts were the additional pages at the end, talking about the states and learning sign language! #WalworthJ1
