Learning about kindness from the kindest person known …Mr. Rogers! ❤️

🌎World Kindness Day🌍
We are so excited to share that our school will be celebrating "World Kindness Day" on Wednesday, November 13th! Our 7th/8th grade Student Council has worked hard to plan a wonderful day for both students and staff!
Our celebration includes the following festivities ~
1. Free popcorn for all! Student Council wants to spread kindness by sharing their "yummy" popcorn with staff and students. 🍿
2. Students & staff will be working together to create a large "Kindness Chain" that will be hung throughout our school! The goal of this project will be to visually see how powerful all of our acts of kindness can be! Together we can make a difference!
❤️🔗🧡🔗💛🔗💚🔗💙🔗💜
3. Dress-Up Day! "Kindness is having empathy for others! Show empathy by walking in someone else's shoes! Students dress like teachers; teachers dress like students!" 🥰
4. Start of "Hunt Off Hunger" school-wide food drive! 🍞🪫
Sending Kindness Your Way! 💜💛
Mrs. Wilson & Mr. K., 7/8 Student Council Advisors

Walworth Jt. District #1 and the 7th/8th grade student council are partnering with area schools and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to Hunt Off Hunger!
