Gifted to the students of Walworth High School by Wells D. Church on December 19, 1924, the Spirit Cup was awarded each year from 1925 to 1958 to the winning class using standards based on statistics of outstanding accomplishments in scholarship, athletics, forensics, journalism, physical education, library, citizenship, the least percentage of tardiness, attitude, and school loyalty.
Thought to have been lost many years ago, the original Spirit Cup was recently returned to Walworth School and is now safely secured and on display in the Walworth High School display case. If you attended Walworth High School and would like to see the Spirit Cup, please contact Karie Bourke at (262)394-2261 to set up a time. #TBT
