This week in ELA fourth grade students read a story about guava. They were focusing on sensory details in writing. After reading, students had the opportunity to taste a guava. The feelings were mixed. Have you ever tried guava? What did you think?

During the first week of school, Miss Chorneyko and Mrs. Valenti’s 2nd grade classes worked on team building by saving Fred! Students worked together to plan and conduct saving Fred. To accomplish this, they needed to find a way to turn over his boat, put on Fred's life preserver (a gummy lifesaver), and put Fred back in his boat. Students could only use four paper clips. It was so much fun and a great way to build teamwork! 😄🪱
