We are so very thankful for the Immanuel Church Sewing Club. Each Wednesday morning the club meets to create “Comfort Quilts.” Yesterday, members from the club brought in 27 comfort quilts for the students of Walworth School. The Guidance Department will be giving the beautiful quilts to students and families that could use a little extra comfort during this holiday season. For the past 20 years, the Immanuel Church sewing club has been “comforting” the students of Walworth with their handmade quilts.

Mrs. Wenzel's class enjoyed making turkey puppets. They practiced riddles and jokes to go along with their puppets so they can entertain their family and friends during their Thanksgiving celebrations. Happy Thanksgiving!

Maeleigh and Rowan are the newest members of the Reading Counts 1,000 Points Club. Students in first grade through fourth grade read books and take quizzes to earn Reading Counts points.

Last week, Walworth School received a generous donation from the Chanson family. The family donated TWO industrial-strength stainless steel pedal hand sanitizing stations and hand sanitizer. Meridian Direct customized the stations with our Walworth Wildcat logo. One station is located at the main entrance and one at the cafeteria door. We are so grateful for you and your donation!

Students in Mrs. Cruz's first grade class have been busy being "Kindness Ninjas" during the month of November at school. They wrote down random acts of kindness that they did for others to make a kindness chain in their classroom. They also collected food for the food pantry to help others during the holiday season.
