Safe Families for Children is offering free school supplies for families from 11-1 today, August 14th, at Elkhorn Middle School.
Elkhorn Middle school will have stuffed backpacks and tubs of extra supplies for families to choose from extra on their way out, and also some treats/refreshments.

4th of July weekend fireworks start tonight in Elkhorn! How many shows do you plan to make it to? 🎆

At the end of the year the first grade classes walked to the Walworth Memorial Library to get their first library card! Miss Patti read and signed two books to them, while they enjoyed a little snack and learned a little about our library.
They were also the first group of kids to take a walk around the outside of the our building and enjoy our very first "Storywalk" displaying the book I Don't Want to Be a Frog by Dev Petty! What a fun day!
The outdoor 'Storywalk" is for everyone to come and enjoy - whether we're open or closed you can still read a book to your child!

Sharon School Summer Meal Pick-Up
Sharon School's food service staff would like to get an idea of how many families will be picking up food boxes.

Pick up will happen at the Sharon School cafeteria doors on the following Mondays from 11:30-12:30: June 28th, July 5th & 26th, and August 2nd, 9th, 16th, & 23rd. We are just trying to get a general idea of how many boxes to have ready. If you do not mark a week now, and your plans change, you can still come up to get a box.

Mrs. Niemuth's week one of summer school has been a NATURE theme with stories, book walk and talks, and related nature crafts. We enjoyed reading outdoors on soft blankets and having recess in the sunshine!

Immanual Church has allowed us to park in their lot for the duration of this work. Please park at the back of the lot.
