Walworth School Sunday Staff Spotlight Meet Mrs. Crusan ~ Early Childhood Paraprofessional How long have you worked in the district? This is my 11th year at Walworth Grade School. Where is your hometown? I was born in Belvidere, IL and lived in Harvard, IL from when I was 4 until I was 31. Then I moved to Walworth, Wisconsin. Tell us about your family. I have been married for 14 years to Dan. We have a 7 year old daughter Tenley who is in first grade and we have a newborn son, Liam. What’s the best thing about working in the district? The best part about working in the district is being able to work in the same school that my children attend. Do you have any pets? We have two dogs, a cat, and a couple of fish. What was your favorite subject in school? My favorite subject was math. #WalworthSundayStaffSpotlight #WalworthJ1

Good luck to the 44 students who will compete at the East Division Forensics Competition today. Mrs. Wenzel and Miss Gleeson are very proud of all of the students who completed the program from start to finish! Way to go Wildcats! #WalworthProud #WalworthJ1

Health Tip #3 ~ The Benefits of Walking Walking should be continuous and rhythmic. • Swing your arms and stride along at an even rhythmic pace. • Do not stroll along and do not stop unless necessary. • Your foot should hit the ground heel first and roll gradually from heel to toe. • Your breathing will be faster while you walk, but you should still be able to carry on a conversation. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ #WellnessWednesday #WalworthJ1

Spring has blossomed in Ms. Boldger’s Jr. kindergarten class...Introducing “SIMBA”, the baby Lion Head bunny. He joined the classroom as our forever pet and has captured the hearts of all who have met him. We will be sharing many stories in our future. Along with our joy in having Simba with us, the children are in AWE of spring and continue to marvel at the beauty this season brings. We have observed baby chicks, and air flow with our “ wind wands”. We also planted and nurtured grass seeds and watched a “yard” grow right before our eyes. Our new frog themed story table has inspired all sorts of language and concepts in math .... to be continued. Welcome SPRING! #earlychildhoodeducation #WalworthJ1
