This campaign gives each middle school homeroom a $10 gift card to distribute to a student who is making our school "Better!" The fifth grade spent the month of February participating in CounterAct with Officier Cottini, of the Walworth Police Department, and Mrs. Dowden. They learned about making healthy choices, not giving in to peer pressure, bullying, and strategies that help them know what to do in different situations involving the studied concepts. Everyone learned so much from throughout the experience. Thank you Officier Cottini!

Students in Mrs. Schauf's 5th grade science class are using mealworms to learn how an organism's structures and behaviors help it to grow and survive. They set up mini habitats and will be observing the mealworms over the next 8 weeks.
